Weddings at Como Zoo

What can I say… The Como Zoo Conservatory is an absolutely stunning venue. Ponds, exotic plants, and the gorgeous glass dome green house. The Sunken Garden is best for small weddings as space can be tight. Your guests stand along one side to watch the ceremony. At this particular wedding the officiant was a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court! Also, I wish the carousel was running as I think we could have had some fun there. Plummer house wedding venue

The Plummer House features, eleven acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, formal gardens, bird trail, quarry, and water tower highlight the features of the park. The grounds are open to the public from sunrise to sunset except when the house is reserved for private functions. The Plummer House, makes a beautiful setting for your wedding or engagement pictures. The outside gardens offer plenty of space and the inside is loaded features a beautiful staircase. The inside is a bit limited as far as seating goes, and it can be very dark for photos. Tips for wedding photo success

Just remember for the best possible wedding photos… smile.  I know wedding days can be very stressful and you’re worried about  everything being perfect, but just relax and smile.  Nothing ruins wedding photos faster then being upset (being to drunk is right up there as well, but thats another story).  Just remember, if you don’t smile I WILL bust out the corny photographer jokes!  You have been warned.  Looking for a Photographer Contact me or look at my samples.

Scenic outdoor wedding venue Trellis Wedding and Events

This Summer I had the privilege of  shooting a wedding at the absolutely beautiful Trellis in Stillwater, MN.  It’s hard not to find a great place for a photo.  It actually took me a while to get going because I didn’t even know where I wanted to start shooting photos!  Lush gardens, fountains, ponds, gazebos, white canopy tent, statues, and a lantern lit pathway just to name a few of the highlights.  Look them up if you are having your wedding anywhere around the Twin Cities metro.  Oh and give me a call to be your photographer ok??  Have you been here before?
